Alex Albrecht is a former G4TechTV host and currently hosts Diggnation and Ctrl-Alt-Chicken.

After the purchase of TechTV by Comcast and its ensuing merger with the G4 gaming network, Alex replaced long-standing host Patrick Norton on the TechTV show The Screen Savers. An overwhelming majority of viewers first hated his hosting style, which some found to be childish and unprofessional, but he quickly warmed up to the role and quite possibly surpassed co-host Kevin Rose in popularity by the end of the show's run (at which time it was changed to Attack of the Show
Perhaps one of the most memorable moments of Alex's tenure as host of TSS is the bet he made with Kevin and won, resulting in him being able to destroy Kevin's beloved Apple G4 on-set.

Alex currently is the co-host (alongside Kevin Rose of his TSS days) of Diggnation, a weekly video-podcast featuring some of the top stories on the news site Digg. Alex also co-hosts Ctrl-Alt-Chicken, a cooking show in which he and Heather Stewart attempt to mix tech and cooking. Both shows are Revision 3 vidcasts, and available from the Revision 3 web site.
