Amber Dawn MacArthur (born June 27 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island)[1] is a Canadian television personality best known for her work as co-host alongside Leo Laporte of Call for Help, a technology help television program, which airs on G4techTV Canada in Canada and on HOW TO Channel in Australia. She is also co-host (along with Mike Lazazzera) of commandN, a weekly vidcast which covers technology trends both online and offline. She previously was a co-host of Gadgets and Gizmos with Marc Saltzman and Andy Walker until the show ended production for 2005. Currently Amber is working on a podcast with her Call for Help co-host Leo Laporte called Inside the Net, and hosts the new G4techTV Canada program, Torrent.

On August 28, 2006, Amber MacArthur reported on her blog that she intended to leave her position at G4TechTV, as well as shows Call For Help, Torrent, and Gadgets and Gizmos. Even though this event has happened very recently, she will tape several more episodes of Call For Help and Torrent, and the changes will be visible in mid-September. She will join CITY-TV in Toronto as a Internet/New-Media reporter, as well as host and producer of a weekly show on CP24 in late October. She will, however, continue hosting the video podcast CommandN.
