As you can see, the turnout for this issue was lackluster. It got to the point I considered releasing next month, skipping the day this came out, but I made a commitment to this schedule. Anyways... I did find alot of people wanting to contribute, people did have trouble in certain ways, though. Because of this, I have compiled a list of soultions.
First, some people stated that they really wanted to contribute, but had no idea what they wanted to write about. In short, a desire without direction. Because of this, I have put up a request page, fully editable by the community up on the wiki. This page consists of a bulleted list where people can name articles they want to see and have others carry out. I believe that this will help not only people that want to write articles, but also people who want to read articles pertaining to their interests. The url follows... Requests
Second, sope people said that they wanted to write, but had tough schedules, and wanted to know when I wanted articles by. Well, I assume everyone has read the wiki. Thats where this primarily gets released from. Otherwise, the link will be included at the end of this paragraph. If you are interested in writing, but will forget, send an email to Analog5@live.com with the subject line "Remind", and you will be put on a mailing list to be reminded five days before the submission deadline which is on the 15th of every month. Accordingly, If you drop an email to the same address with the line, "MailMe", you will get added to the mailing list, and have each article emailed to you as soon as its released.
All in all, I am disappointed, as a few key people decided not to pull through in the end, but with these new changes, I hope to expect a better outcome for the next issue. Reminder, I still need collumnists. Articles from them are required each month.
