• Hak5 community members are welcome to add issues to the list as they see fit, provided the issue is pertinant to the Community Rainbow Tables group.

• Event is +m, with opportunities for all to speak throughout each issue. Guests for each issue are encouraged to come to talk about that aspect of the issue that they are involved with.

[edit] NTLM vs. MD5

A member of the community, hgate73, has begun to generate NTLM tables on their private server. In response to this, many people claim that NTLM would make a better technology to research with the advent of Windows Vista, which uses NTLM exclusively. The goals of this issue are:

• Decide which technology to generate next
• Decide what characterset and table sizes would be appropriate
• Provide additional community insight into operations on the project

[edit] Torrent Seeders

It has come to the attention of the group that many of the Torrent seeders have not begun to actually seed the torrent yet. This just wants to be mentioned to help alleviate the load on the initial seed's network.
