Scene 1 The Introduction
Darren:(D) Hello and Welcome to The hak.5 forums
Wess:(W) This short clip/video/intro(duction) will help educate you on what to do, and more importantly what NOT to do.
(D): We are very newb friendly around here, we want to enjoy Hak.5 and join in with the GREAT community... We are not however n00b friendly.
(W): Now you're thinking... "But they are the same?!" They are not... After watching you'll understand the difference,
(D): And hopefully how to not get flamed or "Certified".
(W) INTERJECTS: Getting Certified is bad!
(D): This is not in any way an all inclusive list, nor an exclusive community, but there are just a few "guidelines" you need to follow"
Scene 2 The Difference between Newb and N00b
(D): First off the difference between "newb" and "n00b". As I say all the time 'I less then three newbs'. Newbs spelled N E W B S are our friends, they are just new to something and soon with a little work will be 1337, because they are willing to learn and take advice from the people who know better..."

- BOTH SIGH
(W): "N00b however spelled N Zero Zero B, are not our friends, they will most of the time know nothing, but insist they know everything, and never take advice but luckily soon with a little work they will be flamed and roasted to a nice crispy brown."

Scene 3 Things you should know before you post
(D): If you don't know something you're probably thinking the best way to learn about it you'd think would be Google...

and you're right, most of the time.
(W): Google is a great resource, almost every time you can get what you're looking for from Google very quickly. Just enter in a keyword or too and try the first few links, most of the time you'll get just what you're looking for.
(D): but most of the time is not all the time so if google doesn't help. Or just confuses you more drop by the Questions Forum and ask away... as long as you're detailed and explain as much as you can someone will be happy to help.
(W): Don't forget wikipedia.org

if you're looking for what PHP stands for all you need to do is type right into your address bar "Wikipedia slash w i k i slash p h p" and hit enter, and you'll quickly find out it stands for 'PHP Hypertext Preprocessor'
(D): And from there type "Wikipedia slash wiki slash recursive underscore acronym" if you still don't understand what PHP means

(W): We are happy to teach you more about computers
(D): WE will not hack into something for you nor help you hack into anything you don't own
(W): we can tell the difference... so don't waist our time or yours
Scene 5 Worst Case and Closing
(W): If somehow you act like a n00b
(D) INTERJECTS: N Zero Zero B
(W): The mods the admins and the forums members will warn you if you do something wrong... and if you Continue to act like a n00b you'll become a Microshaft Certified n00b, and that will be your last warning, telling you you're close to being banned.
