History of Trust Your Technolust
From Hak5
Hackers
The first known usage of the phrase "Trust Your Techno lust" in film was the movie Hackers. It showed up in the background of the ending hack scene, pasted onto numerous phone booths.
Hak5
Hak5 used it as two words at the end of episode 1, after the credits. Then, "Techno lust" was shortened to one word for the rest of the Hak5 episodes. This was a mistake in editing --Darren 18:18, 7 November 2006 (PST)
More research is needed into the history of this phrase. Who wrote it? Where was it first used?
Other Sources
Wikipedia redirects Technolust to Technosexual, which HAK.5 claims is far different then the context in which they use the term. While no official definition has been made by cast or crew it is often compared to The Force in passing. Many fans also write the show ending emails with "Trusting my technolust from <geographical location>". --Darren
