Phrax

Phrax is a flapjack ninja (a ninja of the Flapjack Clan). Flapjack ninjas specialise in the assassination of "noobs" (read: targets) via the use of flapjacks. Originating from a future time, in a metropolis known in this era as "Silicon Valley", which is the capital city of the world, Phrax likes pancakes and french toast. The point giraffe ninjapwnitsu reaches it's height is by the prepackaging of MoonlitBSD. Only by experienced ninjapwners will the previous sentence make sense.

Ninjapwnitsu is a mysterious martial art, which has long gone uncredited as the choice martial art of the world's greatest heroes (read: Chuck Norris, Leo Laporte 3.0). It is also the hidden art that is closely associated with the term "ub3r micro". Several internet ninja celebrities have been practitioners of various branche of ninjapwnitsu.

Phrax loves toast with melted cheese, as well as eggs. There are a range of breads that Phrax uses for his favourite toast recipes, but his most recent favourite is the French variety.
Taken from Vox
"Ever since I first tried French toast, I've been in love. I was referred to French toast by a friend's short story about the love of French toast for it's friend. I thought to myself "If French toast can love me, then maybe I can love myself?". It was an uncertain stage in my life."

Phrax's future remains uncertain. He has plans to one day start a netshow, and continue his graphic design hobby.[1] Phrax also said in a recent podcast interview that he'd like to become a contributing member to the Internet, either in the form of contributing media, a service-based website, or otherwise.

[edit] Current Projects

Since Phrax's first book, which he wrote at the age of four, Phrax has been busy producing screenplay's, scripts, fanfiction, fiction of his own creation, and short films made from game clips, from games such as World of Warcraft, with voice-overs, used to tell a story. Currently, Phrax has announced he is working on the following:

  • Aiding in the design of a social service-based website showcasing XFN.
  • A script for a Firefly episode, entitled "Opportunity Salvaged"
  • A IPTV/netshow
  • The Voxionary Movement[2]

Phrax has expressed numerous times that he will not disclose the details of his netshow until/around February the 12th, at the TBA concept launch, where a short of the first edition will be shown, and future ideas, as well as the show's direction, will be announced.

The Voxionary movement was started by Steve Saylor, and is dedicated to raising awareness and popularity of Vox (and as a side goal, to defeat the hellspawn of News Corp.'s MySpace).

[edit] Origins of the name

Many believe that Phrax is a variation on the word Phrack, the hacker ezine, in which the famous Hacker's Manifesto was published. Some have also speculated that the name comes from a mixture of the word "Phone" and the neologism "hax", used by the internet subculture. In truth, the name Phrax was conceived coincidental to his goal at the time of creation of the name, to learn more about hacking, reverse and social engineering, in order to become more apt at protecting against it. Phrax saw the benefit in knowing the black hat and white hat aspects of digital security, to be able to create prevential measures, and to test those measures.

[edit] Current lifestyle

Phrax is currently enjoying a relaxing life in a mountainous rural area, with no distractions but the twittering of birds outside his window, the cool breeze of the mornings, and the incessant stat-whoring of moonlit. Goddamn that guy is in IRC a lot. One day Phrax will be called back into action, when Silicon Valley needs his help again? Who will make the call? Kevin Rose? I don't know! I'm just an author.
