- WARNING: Flashing your U3 Drive will change your manufactor logo and other important files so backup your U3 CD-ROM. Also if you have a SanDisk Cruzer Micro or Memorex TravelDrive you should just download the files for them on the count of this application is still being tested. (what does that mean??)

How To Hack Any U3 Drive
This is a Universal U3 LaunchPad Hacker created by U3Hacker. It has been tested by four people and they are rastetter, U3Hacker, XOR and Garda. The test was done using a Kingston U3 Drive, a Memorex U3 Drive, an Intuix S300 U3 Drive, and a Toshiba TransMemory U3 Drive. The tests have been successful.
To Use
- Download and Extract Universal Customizer 1.0.0.8 to the desktop or wherever you wish to install it.
- Insert a U3 Drive into your PC.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Done.
This computer application is not able to make a classic(normal) flash drive U3 compliant.
Creating your own ISO
The pre-packaged 'U3CUSTOM.ISO' file is the loader for the U3 SwitchBlade/Hacksaw.
You might have to run this software 2 or more times before it works properly (you might get an error message) and manually put your files back on the flash drive and re-install your U3 software titles.
To make your own 'U3CUSTOM.ISO' file follow these directions. (XP/NT/2003 Only)
- Navigate to the directory where you extracted Universal_Customizer.zip to and open the 'U3CUSTOM' folder.
- Copy your custom files* to that folder.
- Go to the parent directory.
- Execute 'ISOCreate.cmd'
- Launch 'Universal" and your done.
