 | Darren and I have known each other for about six years. Our interest in filming and video production dates back shortly after we met; he introduced me to computers and modern technology. After working together on a class project, which required video editing on a Casablanca machine, I developed a deep interest in the art.
With independent media scarce at the time our biggest influence was Capt. Immy, who produced pointless audio and LMSDC. We made a few short films on a VHS-C camcorder and did our own editing. I approached him several times over the years about releasing our content on the Internet for free distribution. Every time I brought it up he would remind me that the technology wasn’t there, or was way too far out of our price range. | |

| Fast-forward several years; after a few short stints of loosing contact, and some major life changes, we end up being roommates. Enter shows like Systm, The Broken, and From the Shadows. We download the shows and watch them in amazement. These people are making informative, high quality shows, and releasing them on the net. Darren contacted me and said that now was the right time.
After several sorrowful denials, he finally gave the go-ahead. We were both completely hyped. With affordable broadband, p2p software like Bit Torrent, and RSS, we had the means, the ability, and the rekindled inspiration to follow through on a long time dream. The rest, as they say, is history. | ||
